Grenat

Taste : Deep garnet red with a cherry nose surrounded by the wild freshness of blackcurrant. A round wine with melted tannins and a spicy finish. A wine with noteworthy balance. It can be drunk immediately as an aperitif, as a starter with melon or with a dessert of red fruits or chocolate cake.

Appellation Rivesaltes

Soil : Black schistes.

Grape varieties : 100% black Grenache.

Winemaking : Hand harvested. Total destalking. Maceration in low temperature with a daily punching cap. Addition of neutral grape alcohol (mutage). Ageing for 3 months before a early bottling. Maceration on cap for 15 days after the mutage.
